Kloudbean Server Deletion Policy for Non-Payment

At Kloudbean, we strive to ensure uninterrupted service for our users while maintaining a fair billing structure. Below is our policy regarding server deletion in case of non-payment:

1. Initial Grace Period (First 48 Hours)

  • After an unsuccessful renewal attempt due to non-payment, your servers will remain up and running for the next 48 hours.
  • During this period, our system will retry charging your saved payment methods every 6 hours or 12 hours (as configured) to process the outstanding payment.

2. Paused State (Next 48 Hours)

  • If payment remains unsuccessful after 48 hours, your servers will be paused for the following 48 hours.
  • While in this state, the servers will be inactive, but your data will remain intact.
  • Notification emails will be sent to inform you about the status and to encourage payment to restore services.

3. Server Deletion (After 96 Hours)

  • If payment is still not received after a total of 96 hours (48 hours running + 48 hours paused), the server will be deleted from the platform.
  • Notifications will be sent by email to alert you of this action and provide details about data restoration.

4. Data Retention Period (15 Days)

  • Even after the server is deleted, your data will be securely stored for 15 days.
  • During this time, you can restore your server by replying to the notifications sent to you via email and settling the outstanding invoices.

5. Notifications and Communication

  • Our system will send billing notifications, warning emails, and messages from our billing team throughout the process to keep you informed.
  • Regular retries to charge your payment cards will continue every 6-12 hours until the issue is resolved.

Restoration Process

  • If you wish to restore your data within the 15-day retention period, you must reply to the email notifications and complete the payment for the overdue amount.
  • Restoration requests made after the 15-day period cannot be honored as data will be permanently deleted.
