Server Deletion Policy

     Server Deletion Policy

     Effective Date: 1 January 2023

At KloudBean, we prioritize data security, privacy, and compliance while maintaining operational efficiency. This Server Deletion Policy               outlines the procedures for handling servers in cases where a subscription is not renewed. By using KloudBean’s services, customers                   agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

  1. Policy Overview

If a subscription is not renewed, KloudBean follows a structured timeline to handle the affected servers. The timeline is as follows:

    Initial 48 Hours (Grace Period):

For the first 48 hours after the subscription expiration, the server remains active without any interruptions.

    Next 48 Hours (Paused Period):

After the initial 48 hours, if the subscription is still not renewed, the server is paused. During this time, the server is inaccessible but the              data remains intact.

    Post 96 Hours (Deletion Process):

After a total of 96 hours (48 hours active + 48 hours paused), the server deletion process begins.

  1. Data Backup and Restoration Policy

After server deletion, KloudBean retains server data backups for 15 days.

During this period, users can request to restore their server. However, the following limitations apply:

IP Address and Custom Settings: The original IP address and any custom settings associated with the server cannot be restored. These            can be reconfigured upon request.

Subscription Renewal: If the user requests a server restoration, the subscription renewal will be backdated to the day the original                        subscription expired, not the date of restoration.

By adhering to this structured process, KloudBean ensures fair and consistent handling of non-renewed servers while allowing users a              window to recover their data if needed.
